Fast-Track allows Congress to hand over to any President its authority to amend and debate trade agreements. The recent Bill Moyers special “Trading Democracy” illustrates the disastrous results of passing NAFTA under Fast-Track. Under NAFTA, unknown to most Americans, foreign corporations are now suing our government to overturn our democratically enacted laws. This is corporate rule not democratic governance. 
In December, Fast-Track passed in the U.S. House of Representatives by ONLY ONE VOTE. We still have a chance to defeat this anti-democratic legislation. The Senate will be voting on Fast-Track soon and then both bodies will re-vote on a compromise bill. Please call our Senators today and tell them to vote NO on Fast-Track!
